Bridal Fashion Week 2015

Our friends over at Weddington Way have given me exclusive access to this year’s Bridal Fashion Week and I could not be more excited about the trends showing up this year!

Colored Dresses

Want to shirk the traditional white dress? Then go for a colored dress! Fashion week had everything from pale pinks to light blues and even floral prints. We heard that even two toned dresses were hitting the runway!

Dresses with an Edge

Looking for something less girly and more edgey? How about a Rock n’ Roll inspired wedding dress? This season, boho favorite (and one of my favorites!) Claire Pettibone and acclaimed newcomer Houghton both showcased drop dead gorgeous styles in fun, cool, and wearable silhouettes.

Daring Fabrics

This year lots of lace, tulle, and feathers were being used in unique ways! Multiple fabrics were used on one dress to create stunning looks. In addition to these newer trending fabrics, recurring silhouettes like illusion sleeves, low backs and even deep neck lines were even seen.

Long Trains

One trend making its comeback this year is long trains. Brides are making their statements this season by embracing the drama of a cathedral train. Celebrities are even embracing this trend. Anyone see Rihanna’s dress at this year’s Met Gala? It looks absolutely royal!

Here are some of the exclusive images I’m able to share featuring some of my favorite designers:
